Sometimes the best toys are the simple ones... like Carol's socks! They are soft and chewy, but alas, no squeaker. Finally it is back to the good old pheasant. Whatever the toy, we sure do have fun.

Shelby
This is my friend Shelby. I've known Shelby since she was a puppy and have been reunited with her in Montana. Her parents are out of town for a few days so we are going to eat table scraps and twinkies. Yippppeeeeee!

Rusty and Mahina
These are my new friends, Rusty and Mahina. You can see the stress level while their parents were out of town was pretty high. We managed to keep it all under control and have a lot of fun!

Life's (not) a Beach
Scary Beach Dogs
Here are 2 good examples of why we have to have strict laws in the summer about our dogs enjoying the beach. Scary huh? Have "they" considered how many children leave waste on the beach or run through our quiet areas? Dogs, like children, can be well trained and behave well in public. Why is it that a lot of visitors can evict our resident dogs from the beach during the hottest time of the year? Can't we all just get along? Maybe a section of beach where dogs are allowed and people who don't care to share their days with dogs can frequent another part of the beach?

LUNAtic
Sitting with Luna in Indian Wells is always fun and never dull. Ready for her to head to MT for the summer though!

Dude, where's my Corona?
Another big day at "Camp Sammy." Here's Sammy chillin' at the beach in the cool chair and shade his parents got for him and enjoying his birthday beach towel from Auntie Carol. Don't worry about the tongue... his water is behind the chair in the shade. I think the tongue largely protects us from predators.
Maggie
This is our friend Maggie aka: Magster, Mags, Monster, Magpie... Maggie has lived the good life. We met her in MT where she was an expert at the "duck and run" game with Luna and Bob. The kind of girl who stirs the pot and then sits back and watches the mayhem innocently. Maggie lucked out with one of the best dog dads ever, and has since added one of the greatest dog moms a dog could wish for. I am sure she is still quietly making noise in her new hometown of Austin TX.

Let's Share!
Welcome to Adventures in Pet Sitting, the blog. As you can see, it is a great place to share the wonderful ways your family members make your life complete. Please also write me with helpful pet health and happiness info so we can all benefit.
My Sweet Family
These are some pics of my sweet family. Aren't they just the best? Send me pics of your family and I will post them here too.

Ziggy, ZigMan, the Zigster, MR. Man, Zig
Ziggy is a good friend of ours from Montana. He's a crazy man, a real animal! You name it he loves to do it, especially if it involves food. His Mom Sue and I are giving him appropriate homage in one pic with Luna and Bob rounding out the group of "usual suspects."
